Runout Lab
Runout Lab connects structured practice, lessons and games with a record of what you actually did. Choose a pathway that fits your time, follow each task's success condition and log the result. Use the skill in play, then check comparable attempts later. Starting estimates, practice results and match performance tell different parts of the story.
Free, and no advertising. Your training is yours — other players never see it, and there is no admin screen that reads it.
Pick a course lesson, a focused drill or a Lab session. A baseline measures your starting difficulty, and you can save it one skill family at a time.
Set up the card, follow the full success condition and record makes and misses. The Lab adjusts difficulty from your results and plans work for the time you have.
Carry the skill into RDS, a ghost game, Career or a match. Review comparable attempts later; a good practice session alone does not prove lasting or match improvement.
Choose a focus, practise it honestly, use it in a game, then come back and check it. You do not need to use every tool or finish everything in one visit.
Start with a routine you can repeat: perhaps two short practices and a chance to play during the week. This is a suggested starting rhythm, not a required dose or a promised rating gain. Set your actual time and days in the Lab.
Want a baseline first? Complete one skill family, save it and stop. Finish the remaining families on another visit. You can train before the full calibration is complete.
Every part of the app, and what it is for. Nothing here needs an account to read — follow any tile for the long version.
Choose the guided course for lessons in order, or use the Lab, a focused drill or a game when that fits your time. A baseline helps you choose a starting difficulty; you can measure it in parts.
These are the deliberate-practice surfaces. Reps logged here move your measured levels; everything else in the app is either play or reporting.
Practice builds skill; playing proves it. These record real games so your rating and records come from what happened, not from what you remember.
Reporting only. Nothing here changes a number — it just shows you the ones you've earned.
These came out of researching what actually distinguishes a 500 from a 600 from a 700, rather than what is easy to build. Each one answers a question the Lab could not.
Housekeeping — do it once and forget it.
A promise about the numbers
A starting estimate is not a measurement. Passing a drill records that performance; a later check asks what stayed, and a different task or a match asks what carries over. Keep those records separate as you work toward your own goals. The app does not promise a particular Fargo gain or a deadline for reaching it.
